Elmo X account hacked, calls Trump a ‘child f—er’

Unknown hackers took control of the Elmo account on X on Sunday, posting a string of anti-Jewish hate and calling President Trump a “child f—er.”

The posts also called for the release of the so-called “Epstein files,” documents related to the investigation of child predator Jeffrey Epstein before he died by suicide in Manhattan prison in 2019.

The hackers wrote six posts, including multiple calls for violence against Jews. The posts have since been deleted, and the “Sesame Street” team said it has regained control of Elmo’s account.

“RELEASE THE FILES @realdonaldtrump CHILD F—ER,” read one of the since-deleted posts.

Elmo’s social media presence is generally fun, upbeat and innocent. Last year, thousands of people, including then-President Joe Biden, shared their feelings after the account asked a simple question: “Elmo is just checking in! How is everybody doing?”

The Epstein files have divided Trump’s usually loyal base, even though Trump’s relationship with Epstein has been public for decades.

In February, Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Justice Department released what they described as an initial round of files on the case, and Bondi told Fox News she had Epstein’s client list “sitting on my desk right now.”

But earlier this month, Bondi said no more files would be released, and that there was no client list at all — a claim that incensed many of Trump’s die-hard supporters.

“The lack of actual results at the DOJ and lack of transparency that translates into incompetence will cost the GOP House and Senate seats,” longtime Trump ally Laura Loomer wrote in her own social media post.
