Man, 50, dies after being found stabbed in neck at NYC subway station

A 50-year-old man found stabbed in the back of the neck at a Greenwich Village subway station has died, police said Tuesday.

The city’s medical examiner on Friday declared the death of Vincent Norman a homicide after he succumbed to his injuries at Bellevue Hospital.

Transit officers were conducting an inspection at the W. Fourth St.-Washington Square station, at Sixth Ave., around 4:30 a.m. on June 14 when they found Norman unconscious on the mezzanine level near the token booth.

He had been stabbed in the back of the neck, cops said. The knife used in the attack was found nearby.

EMS rushed him to Bellevue Hospital, where he died, although his date of death was not immediately disclosed.

Norman lived in Jersey City, about 4 miles from where he was stabbed.

No arrests have been made.
